I was here in Arkansas for 2 weeks, I came for a business trip. I am from the east coast. I wanted to give a shoutout to Mike the manager, very pleasant and easy going. Cassie the bartender was amazing, sweet and kind. This place has TVs around me, with sports going on. The food is made from scratch and you can tell when you eat it. The atmosphere and the bar guest that are regulars were also awesome. I enjoyed this whole experience. Thank you Cassie
We are traveling and always like to try some place new. We have eaten Chicken at Canes, Slims, Dave's Hot Chicken, Popeyes, Zaxbys and of course KFC. We had never heard of Waldo's Chicken and Beer. So off we went to this North Little Rock location on our travels from Minnesota. And wow it was delicious, hot, cooked to perfection, juicy and quick. Service was excellent. Waldo's has sandwiches, tenders, cheddar biscuits and holy molly the nachos are not only a meal on their own but amazing. Do yourself a favor and find Waldo. More reviews at @realtysharpe
Great first experience at Waldo's! As advertised - excellent chicken and cold beer. The beer list wasn't quite as extensive as a I expected, but I was happy to see some local beers on tap and my dad was thrilled to see Busch light on tap also samples the seasonal slush, it was peachy and delicious. The nachos were plenty to split for a lunch and the rotisserie chicken was flavorful and juicy. The same could be said for the tenders, with an added crunch. The Mac and cheese was creamy and cheesy, the cole slaw mixed it up with some crunch, and the potato wedges were well seasoned. And the biscuits yum. As for sauces; our favorites were the Alabama white and the habanero oil, but the rooster sauce and the tender sauce didn't disappoint. Seriously, if you like chicken in a bar setting then this is what you're looking for.
The first time we ordered it was a pickup order. We got our food and the bag was tied tight so once we got home and got into the bag we realized there were items missing. We called and they refunded our food which was awesome. This time we went through the drive through. We were pulled up to wait on our food. We were hoping they didn't forget anything because they were so busy. They didn't forget anything and it was so delicious y'all! Those biscuits were so good and the chicken was hot and juicy. They just opened and once they get the flow of things they'll be more organized. I know from experience that when a place is that busy that sometimes things will be forgotten. We appreciate all of the hard work and we'll definitely be back.
Consistent amazing rotisserie chicken every time! The sides I get are white beans and collard greens and they’re fantastic as well. Cheese biscuits are amazing. Perfect lunch or dinner spot! Customer Service is spot on as well. The guy at the front today had the most joyful spirit and is perfect to be the first person you interact with at the restaurant.
Service was excellent and Brayon had things running really smooth during an after-church Sunday rush. We enjoy good food but also like to move fast, and were pleasantly surprised how quickly everything flowed based on how full the parking lot was. My chicken was great. Wife's tenders had awesome flavor and she loves the little biscuits. The beans and collards and simple and delicious. We're slowly becoming regulars based on experiences like this.
Best chicken tenders I've ever had! Fresh, big, and didn't need any dipping sauce. The Waldo's sauce was very good though. Also, the fresh cut fries were very good.
Great new place right off the interstate in North Little Rock. Easy off, easy on. A quick bite or a nice atmosphere for beer and TVs. Very nice bar area and wonderful outdoor dining with, you got a big screen tv. Order at the counter, get your number, and they bring your meal. The chicken dinner is just like mom use to fry up for family dinner. Also, the chicken nachos were superb. Lots of chicken roasted or fried, chips, cheese dip, beans, and other good stuff. A nice touch was some slaw right in the middle. Collard greens, fires, Mac and cheese and Cole slaw were great side items. However, no mashed potatoes but plenty of other sides to choose from. A must try in the North Little Rock area!!
